Can you replace a broken watch stem?

Yes, when the correct stem or compatible replacement is available. If part of the old stem is broken inside the movement, it may need to be removed before a new stem can be fitted.

Why does my watch crown pull out or spin without setting the time?

The stem may be broken, the crown may have separated from the stem, or parts of the keyless works inside the movement may be damaged.

Can a screw-down watch crown be repaired?

Often, yes. The crown and case-tube threads both need to be checked because wear on either side can keep a screw-down crown from sealing correctly.
