Why mail-in repair exists
Many watch owners have access to battery kiosks or jewelry counters but not a watchmaker who wants to handle movement work, older watches or less glamorous brands. A centralized mail-in bench lets the watch travel to the expertise instead of forcing the owner to accept whatever is available locally.
What makes a good mail-in job
Mechanical service, movement problems, solar or Eco-Drive faults, crystal or crown work, vintage evaluation and watches that have already been turned away locally are natural mail-in categories. Extremely minor work may be more economical locally once two-way shipping is considered.
Our intake philosophy
We review the watch information before it ships. That helps avoid mailing a watch for a repair we already know is impractical, unsupported or outside our current repair scope.
What happens after arrival
The watch is documented and physically inspected. You receive the proposed scope and price before authorized billable work begins. If you decline, return shipping is still your responsibility.
Start with the actual watch
Submit the brand, model or reference if known, symptoms, service history and clear photos before shipping. We use that information for a preliminary review. Final diagnosis and pricing require physical inspection.
