Service terms.

The operating rules for estimates, parts, shipping, payment, declined repairs, warranty and customer property.

1. Preliminary reviews and estimates

Information or pricing provided before physical inspection is preliminary. Final repair scope and price may change after the watch is opened, tested or otherwise inspected. No billable repair work begins until the customer approves the written estimate, except any diagnostic fee specifically disclosed and authorized beforehand.

2. Additional problems discovered during repair

If additional damage or parts needs materially change the approved scope, Watch Repair Anywhere will request additional authorization before performing the additional billable work.

3. Parts and repair method

Repairs may use original manufacturer parts, compatible replacement parts, donor parts or complete replacement movements depending on availability, economics and the approved estimate. If a movement replacement or materially non-original visible component is proposed, it will be identified rather than represented as a traditional overhaul.

4. Vintage, modified and previously repaired watches

Older or modified watches may contain non-original, worn, altered or previously damaged components. Originality cannot be guaranteed unless specifically documented. Cosmetic refinishing, polishing, dial work and replacement of visible original components are not included unless authorized.

5. Water resistance

No original factory water-resistance rating is promised merely because the watch is repaired, opened or resealed. Any water-resistance statement must be based on the condition of the case and testing actually performed after service.

6. Inbound shipping and risk

The customer is responsible for inbound shipping unless written instructions say otherwise. Use tracking and insurance appropriate to the watch’s replacement value and follow the packing instructions issued for the repair. The customer remains responsible for the shipment until confirmed delivery to the receiving location, subject to applicable carrier or insurance terms.

7. Return shipping

Return-shipping method and cost are stated on the estimate or invoice. If an estimate is declined, the customer remains responsible for return shipping and any diagnostic fee specifically disclosed before inspection.

8. Payment

Payment is due before a completed watch is returned unless written trade-account terms state otherwise.

9. Warranty

Repairs are covered according to the published warranty policy and any different terms stated on the estimate or invoice.

10. Unrelated future failures

A repair warranty applies to the work performed, not to every unrelated component in the watch. Vintage and heavily worn watches can develop independent failures after service.

11. Customer-supplied parts

Customer-supplied parts are used only when accepted in writing. Fit, authenticity, condition and durability may not be verifiable, and warranty coverage may be limited accordingly.

12. Unclaimed watches

Customers are responsible for maintaining current contact information and responding to estimates, payment requests and return-shipping questions. Any abandoned-property process will follow applicable law and written notices rather than an arbitrary forfeiture rule.

13. Manufacturer affiliation

Watch Repair Anywhere is not affiliated with or endorsed by watch manufacturers unless expressly stated. Brand and model names are used only to describe the watches and services covered by these terms.

14. Contact
