Modern quartz Bulova
A dead or unreliable modern Bulova may be a straightforward battery or movement job, but hand interference, corrosion and case issues still deserve inspection.
Precisionist and specialty movements
High-frequency quartz and other specialty Bulova technologies may require model-specific parts and are reviewed before acceptance.
Vintage Accutron is a different specialty
Historic tuning-fork Accutron work is not interchangeable with ordinary quartz service. Those watches are evaluated case-by-case and may be referred if the repair requires specialized Accutron capability.
Sentimental value matters
Bulova has a large installed base of inherited and long-owned watches. Repair decisions should reflect the owner’s goal, not only resale value.
