Richard Shea
Richard Shea is the watchmaker behind Watch Repair Anywhere. His bench work includes mechanical and quartz repair, with extensive experience across common Seiko movement families and everyday Japanese watches.
The goal is simple: repair the watch well and give the owner clear information. That applies to a daily-wear Seiko, a Citizen that will not charge, an inherited Bulova, a Hamilton automatic or an older quartz watch you want to keep running.
Fix what the watch actually needs
Good repair starts with finding the actual problem. Sometimes a mechanical watch needs regulation; sometimes it needs a full service. On some quartz and common automatic watches, a movement replacement is the better option. We explain the recommendation and price before any work begins.
Clear communication from start to finish
You start by sending photos and a description of the problem. We send the prepaid, insured shipping label and packing instructions, inspect the watch when it arrives, and send the estimate for approval before repair begins.
