Original, modified or somewhere in between
SKX watches are frequently modified. Aftermarket hands, crystals, bezels, crowns and movement swaps can change what parts fit and what work makes sense.
7S26 behavior
Many classic SKX references use the 7S26. Remember: lack of crown hand-winding is normal for the original 7S26, while inability to build reserve through automatic winding is not.
Water resistance is not assumed
Opening a diver, replacing a crystal or disturbing seals means water resistance must be treated as a testable condition, not a promise based on the original dial text.
Keep the watch you like
For an SKX owner, a practical repair may be more valuable than replacing the entire watch. We can evaluate the movement, case parts and modification history together.
How the mail-in process works
Submit the watch details and photos first. If the repair appears appropriate, we provide current shipping instructions. Final scope and price follow physical inspection, and billable repair work begins only after authorization under the service terms.
