Seiko 6R35 service.

The 6R35 is a 24-jewel automatic Seiko caliber with manual winding, stop-seconds and an approximately 70-hour power reserve.

Physical inspection — final scope comes from the watch
Approval first — no surprise billable repair work

Why owners notice 6R35 timekeeping

A long power reserve is useful, but it does not eliminate mechanical variation. Position, state of wind, movement condition, magnetism and regulation can all affect observed rate.

Typical 6R35 jobs

Excessive gain/loss, inconsistent rate, reduced reserve, winding problems, stopped movement, crown/stem issues and routine mechanical service.

Diagnosis before parts

We do not assume every poor-running 6R35 needs the same work. The final scope follows physical inspection and the customer’s goals.

When to send it

If the watch is materially out of character, repeatedly stops, will not build reserve or shows a major change in rate, submit the symptoms and timing observations. Photos and the case/reference information help us screen the job.

How the mail-in process works

Submit the watch details and photos first. If the repair appears appropriate, we provide current shipping instructions. Final scope and price follow physical inspection, and billable repair work begins only after authorization under the service terms.
