Quartz problems that look like battery problems
A fresh battery is a useful first test on a conventional quartz Pulsar, but a dead watch can also have a failed movement, damaged contacts, corrosion or hands that are physically interfering with each other.
Solar models need a charging history
If the watch is light-powered, tell us how long it has been in regular light and whether it runs briefly after charging. Replacing a rechargeable cell blindly is not the same thing as diagnosing the charging system.
Crystal and crown work is model-specific
Case parts are often less interchangeable than the movement itself. A clear dial and caseback photo helps identify the reference before the watch ships.
Keep the repair sensible for the watch
On many quartz watches, a correct movement replacement can be a better repair than expensive component-level electronic work. We explain the option before you approve it.
What to send us
Include the model or reference if known, a clear front and caseback photo, the exact symptoms and any recent battery change, impact, moisture exposure or previous repair. Once we’ve reviewed it, we’ll email your prepaid, insured shipping label and packing instructions.
